Ballard to deliver fuel cell stacks for Tata’s low-carbon bus demo

Canada-based Ballard Power Systems will be delivering within this year and the next 12 fuel cell stacks to Tata Motors to power the latter's zero-emission buses to be demonstrated in various cities in India.
"Working with technology companies such as Ballard only strengthens our ability to design and market the wheels of a greener world here in India," said Tata Motors' managing director P.M. Telang.
India's Department of Scientific and Industrial Research supports Tata Motors' plan to supply fuel cell buses for testing and demonstration under its "Technology Development and Demonstration Program."
Tata Motors is part of the Tata Group, a pioneer in India's automotive industry, and has previous bus system integration experience working with Ballard fuel cell products. – Jhoanna Frances S. Valdez
