Burning Industry Questions Answered by C Level Speakers at Advanced Biofuels Markets 2012

CEOs convene to discuss the current and future role of advanced biofuels in relation to reducing US dependence on oil imports

(June, 2012) SAN FRANCISCO – Attendees at the upcoming Advanced Biofuels Markets (www.advancedbiofuelsmarkets.com), North America’s largest CEO conference and exhibition focused on advanced biofuels, will hear from industry leaders to address the most pressing questions facing the future of the industry. As technologies quickly progress and advanced biofuels move towards commercialization, questions surrounding the future of the RFS2, global markets that are open for business, investment into the industry and how to use partnerships to progress will be answered by the top line-up of 2012 speakers.

Featured experts include CEOs, Ed Dineen of LS9, Kirk L. Haney of SG Biofuels , Jennifer Holmgren of LanzaTech, Jim Imbler of ZeaChem, Gary Luce of Terrabon, Jim Macias of Fulcrum and Tom van Aken of Avantium.

“As the advanced biofuels industry grows in global importance, there are serious issues that must be addressed - and we’ve brought together those at the very forefront of the industry to help start answering these,” said Claire Poole, Event Director for Advanced Biofuels Markets. “Based on years of first-hand experience in getting advanced biofuels companies off the ground – to where we are today, this collection of speakers will give our attendees first hand insights as to what the industry needs most in order to thrive.”

In addition to these CEO speakers, we are proud to be joined by other high level executives from leading biofuels associations and lobbyists who are truly pushing the advanced biofuels industry cause to Capitol Hill and representing the industry as a whole:

  • Brooke Coleman, Executive Director, Advanced Ethanol Council
  • Brent Erickson, Executive Vice President, Biotechnology Industry Organisation
  • Mary Rosenthal, Executive Director, Algal Biomass Organization
