Abengoa Solar constructs second parabolic trough solar plant in Caceres, Spain

Spanish solar company Abengoa Solar has begun construction on Extremadura’s second concentrating solar plant. The 50-megawatt plant will have a power output capacity to power approximately 25,000 households, preventing the emission of 31,400 tons of carbon dioxide (CO2).
